PARYATAN PARV ‘DEKHO APNA DESH’ PHOTO COMPETITION- 2017

Prime Minister Narendra Modi through Mann ki Baat invites citizens of India for the photo competition named Paryatan Parv Dekho Apna Desh Photo Competition for the year 2017. It is an initiative of Ministry of Tourism to discover the wonders of Incredible India by celebrating Paryatan Parv from 5th to 25th October across the country. The citizens of India are encouraged to upload photographs of Incredible India (destinations, heritage, culture, cuisine and nature) on the MyGov platform. The three lucky winners along with a companion will get paid holiday package (3 nights and 4 days) and the selected photographs will be used across India for Incredible India campaign.

How To Apply:

The application can be done online by following these steps:

Step 1: Read the details before applying.
Step 2: If already a registered member of MyGov then login by using the registered email id and password/OTP else click Register Now.
Step 3: Fill the details and upload the photographs on the creative corner.
Step 4: Now submit the entry to confirm submission.

Rules & Conditions:

1. Group and multiple entries will not be allowed.
2. Photographs can be clicked using any digital device, including smartphones.
3. Photographs should be in jpg or jpeg file format and color or monochrome images will be accepted.
4. Minimum resolution of the image should be 150dpi and the total data size of the image(s) should not exceed 8 MB
5. Use the (hashtag) #incredibleindia and #(location) i.e if the image is of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, then #Ahmedabad should be used.
6. The interested applicant must be the copyright owner of the photographs must not be published anywhere.
7.  It must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
8. Once the winner is declared, the winner will revert with a confirmation email within 3 working days or another winner will be chosen.
